Renew after a hectic summer
Whew! It's been a busy summer. Of course, most of the things I chose to do I would do again, but I am always wishing for a slower pace. It seems like summer goes so fast and we try to cram in so much. Some things are bound to get neglected in the rush, things like our spiritual lives, our connections with local friends, and our church.
So that's one reason that Copper Hill Church is hosting Back to Church Sunday on September 15, 2019 at 9:30 AM. School is back in session; it's time to get our habit of setting aside some time for honoring God back into sync as well. And church is a great place to connect with local friends and make new friends as well. Copper Hill Church will be facilitating those connections on Sept. 15 with an outdoor fellowship time following the morning service. Friends and neighbors are invited whether or not they have attended the service.
Pastor Kelvin will begin a new message series on Sept. 15th called "God's Good News for Today." "I try to keep it relevant and yet explain what the Bible means in the process," commented Pastor Kelvin Jones. "This series should be straightforward and easy to integrate into our lives as well."
