The hayride was fun
Copper Hill Church held its annual Harvest Party and Hayride on Oct. 20. The wagon was full, the kids were a little loud - meaning they were having fun. The day was a little drizzly but that just meant we snuggled under blankets and umbrellas. Thanks to the Griffins who arranged for the hayride and giving everyone free pumpkins at the stop in the field. Thanks to Mr. Jimmy Allen for lending us the wagon. Thanks to Sue McCorison who served as Judge to help recognize all the children for their dress-up efforts. Some adults dressed in costume too (Find the "dust bunny" on the wagon). Thanks to JoAnne Jones for organizing the inside events, the costume parade, the prizes, leading the songs and overseeing the Bible skit reviewing the story of Jesus and the children. And thanks to all our church family who provided candy and food for the meal. Griffin said, "This is the best treat bag ever!"
