Giving thanks is healthy in July too
The key thought for today’s message from Pastor Kelvin was that giving thanks is a transformative health habit that is crucially needed during COVID-19 times. Usually, pastors talk about giving thanks at the end of November. But the idea of maintaining a heart filled with gratitude was a necessary part for our current series of messages called, “Perspectives We Need During COVID-19.” Giving thanks builds our faith in God and increases our joy. Pastor and JoAnne give illustrations of good things happening during this otherwise difficult time and point out how they personally have tried to develop the habit of Thanksgiving by noting small things. And besides, being thankful just makes us much easier to live with.
