Have you ever tried to explain just what makes a real Christian? Lots of people claim the name but few seem ready to carefully describe its meaning. The Apostle Paul in Romans 12 gives us lots of help for such a task. In September we will focus on this chapter as we study the “Marks of Authentic Christianity.”
As pastor, I believe it works well to preach in series. Usually during the fall, my series run about a month in length. Here is the series outline for September. As happened with the Sept. 1 message that both concluded our summer series and started our September series, so, I am currently planning for the Oct. 6 message to conclude the Romans 12 series and introduce the October series. The October series will be called “How to Overcome.”
